Microcontrollers: a powerful and hardware-efficient platform
We are gradually building a foundation for microcontroller/SoC applications such as the ESP32 Cx and Sx, and boards featuring Beken BK72xx chips (CB2S, CB3S).
This is a topic more suited to hobbyists than to customers interested in a finished product.
Any collaboration in this area should always be based on a discussion of the return on investment.
Microcontroller platforms
ESP32 boards are a proven choice with many versatile GPIO inputs/outputs. Various programming languages and communication support.
Boards based on Beken chips. The very cheapest solution, a scripting language, Wi-Fi and BLE.
Older NodeMCU, Arduino and the like. A staple for hobbyists, a large community, and plenty of peripherals.
How do you do it with us?
Where it makes economic sense – and that is the key question here – we can help those interested with peripherals for these devices. If they purchase devices with a fixed connection to the cloud (typically Tuya), we can advise them on how to disconnect from the cloud and integrate them, for example, into a Home Assistant environment.
Applications from prospective clients with whom it makes sense to collaborate are usually one-off, but they help us build on our experience and, consequently, our ability to provide expert advice. We are able to test a wide range of things on a universal test bench. We can assess the economic aspects of a solution and comment on the reliability and durability of the application.
